I liked your FileView Pro, nice looking DOS program with lots of potential. I hope you continue to work on it.

there's a few little things I noticed.

-jpeg files loaded, but looked quite bad like they were 4 bit and not dithered.
-pcx files loaded good, but couldn't scroll the picture that went off the screen
-gif files loaded quite good. no scrolling either.
-bmp files loaded the best, fastest. no scrolling either. I don't mind the 640x480 resolution, but it would be cool to scroll the picture :) Maybe that's totally beyond the means of Qbasic though.:) The only thing I ever made was a quiz game, and tic tac toe.

-txt file support was awesome. was able to quickly view tons of my text files that are hidden. WAY quicker than notepad. Everything worked nicely.
-was able to run some DOS Tetris games by calling them with "ctrl-enter" feature. So that worked fine.
-renamed a few files without any problems.

I'll check back here in a while to see how it's going. Bye.

Hi Garry:

I'm new to QB64 as I been using QB45 for my programs.
I just got a new laptop with WINDOWS 7 and my programs does
not work there. I think I will have to convert them to QB64.
How should I go about learning QB64?

Thank You
