Ero proprio alla ricerca di materiale riguardante il Basic (sto imparando) e qui ce n'è a tonnellate.
Ottimo continuate così!

This site is grand. I am going to try to update all of my old basic software.

Great site! I bought QuickBasic 4.5 back in 1989 and still have it. Writing programs in BASIC was always fun and I still find that I enjoy creating something that didn't exist before. I bought MASM at about the same time and proceeded to write an assembly language program with a QB user interface to update my PC clock for Daylight Savings Time and Standard Time automatically. Then a few years later Windows 95 came along with that functionality built into it and rendered my program useless.

Thanks for the memories and for keeping a few things around for people who weren't there when it was mainstream.

I liked your FileView Pro, nice looking DOS program with lots of potential. I hope you continue to work on it.

there's a few little things I noticed.

-jpeg files loaded, but looked quite bad like they were 4 bit and not dithered.
-pcx files loaded good, but couldn't scroll the picture that went off the screen
-gif files loaded quite good. no scrolling either.
-bmp files loaded the best, fastest. no scrolling either. I don't mind the 640x480 resolution, but it would be cool to scroll the picture :) Maybe that's totally beyond the means of Qbasic though.:) The only thing I ever made was a quiz game, and tic tac toe.

-txt file support was awesome. was able to quickly view tons of my text files that are hidden. WAY quicker than notepad. Everything worked nicely.
-was able to run some DOS Tetris games by calling them with "ctrl-enter" feature. So that worked fine.
-renamed a few files without any problems.

I'll check back here in a while to see how it's going. Bye.
